Wild Poplars

The gates to a free virtual listening place have opened, although its only at the ‘early-build’ stage.

Wild Poplars is the home my poems have been impatiently waiting for! While drumming their fingers they’ve made friends with musicians, artists, fellow poets and supporters and some of them want to live here too.

They’ll whisper comforting sounds, chant rhymes to shock you and verses to rock you, music to invigorate, words to liberate and art and prose to delight the eye. Sign up to receive a monthly update of new podcasts uploaded.

Let them lead you to where you belong: here, at home in your own skin, tenderly engaged in a world longing to be loved and love us - simply by us engaging more consciously with it and each other.

Take Finn the Irish Wolfhound for a walk there now!

Poems and Prints

Although a couple of my books have been published (apparently the one about ‘tea' was a ‘best-seller’!) it’s the private, personal poems which have most changed lives - mine and the recipients’.

Like the one to a mother who’d lost her teenage daughter and no longer felt she could call herself a mum anymore. The poem spoke to her and she realised it wasn’t true, regaining her sense of motherhood.

And, commissions delight in a special way. Celebratory chants, poems honouring individuals, groups or completed projects are a joy to write.

Yes, books, audio-books and a stunning print with accompanying rhyme are brewing too. Subscribe to Wild Poplars to be the first to hear what’s coming out when!

Biodanza Time!

I’m ready to facilitate Biodanza classes to help expand this remarkable non-verbal regenerative movement and music discipline. It’s an antidote and comfort to the challenging times we’re living in - and to the demand to relate in so many mediums except the one that uses all our senses called ‘real life’!!

I’m based between Newbury and Hungerford. Children, adults and intergenerational sessions will provide life-affirming dance in a group which accepts each member as they are in the moment, in a safe place. Biodanza re-establishes our connection as part of nature.

Need to get back in balance, inhabit your heart and body rather than a stressed or frazzled head? Biodanza opens up a space where the clock stops and your body resets to its default of well being.

Relaxing and restorative, with no steps to learn, dancing in a friendly group, rediscover a place where you’re ‘free to be all of me’ and what follows - feeling you belong…
